Scientists from the Faculty of Biotechnology and Food Sciences of the Lodz University of Technology in the TOP 2% of Scientists of the most influential scientists in the world
Stanford University ranking The TOP 2% ranking is prepared by analysts from Stanford University, Elsevier publishing house and SciTech Strategies. The ranking list contains all scientific achievements, which are assessed according to a complex bibliometric index (so-called C-score), taking into account such criteria as: Hirsch index, number of citations, Impact Factor, place on the list of authors. Last year, at the prestigious one from the Faculty of Biotechnology and Food Sciences of TUL:
1. In the 2021 citation list with 200,000 scientists (including 25 names of TUL employees) included three people:
- prof. dr hab. Eng. Dorota Kręgiel - researcher at the Department of Environmental Biotechnology,
- dr hab. Eng. Anna Podsędek, prof. university - researcher from the Institute of Molecular and Industrial Biotechnology,
- dr hab. Eng. Anna Bujacz, prof. university - researcher from the Institute of Molecular and Industrial Biotechnology,
2. On the list of scientific achievements throughout the career - until the end of 2021 and covering over 195,000 names (including 25 names of TUL employees) included two people:
- dr hab. Eng. Anna Podsędek, prof. university - researcher from the Institute of Molecular and Industrial Biotechnology,
- prof. dr hab. Eng. Danuta Kalemba – retired employee of the Institute of Natural Raw Materials and Cosmetics.
