Categorization

By the decision of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, the Faculty of Biotechnology and Food Science was awarded the scientific category “A”.
All fields of study at the Faculty of Biotechnology and Food Sciences are regularly qualitatively assessed by accreditation committees.

In 2018, the Faculty of Biotechnology and Food Sciences was visited by experts from the Accreditation Committee of Technical Universities (KAUT) and European experts associated in ENAEE (European Network for Accreditation of Engineering Education). On the basis of the presented accreditation documents and the Report of the Assessment Team, the BIOTECHNOLOGY major was granted KAUT accreditation for 5 years, i.e. until the academic year 2022/2023.
This is synonymous with the award of the international certificate EUR-ACE Label (European Accreditation of Engineering Programs).
