Research area:
1. Physicochemical properties of naturally occurring in food compounds (metals, polyphenols, biogenic amines, allergens) and food contaminants.
2. Antioxidant activity of naturally occurring in food compounds in terms of their practical application in food, cosmetics and pharmaceutical industries.
3. Development of functional foods, foods for particular nutritional application.
4. Monitoring of nutrient content in food products during their production, processing and storage.
5. Environmental impact on quality of agricultural produce, content of biologically active ingredients and food contaminants.
6. Impact of abiotic stress caused by metal ions on the content of biologically active ingredients in consumer plants.
