Research area:
1. Properties of biologically active compounds derived from microorganisms, plants and human body (peptides, proteins, nucleic acids, flavonoids and microelements and their chelates with biomolecules).
2. Determining the criteria for selecting natural bioactive chemical compounds and their synthetic derivatives as new potential pharmacological agents enabling more effective overcoming of cancer drug resistance and resistance of microorganisms to antibiotics.
3. Application of microencapsulation technique in functional food and food additives.
4. Study of bioavailability of micronutrients from enriched food products.
5. Speciation analysis of microelements.
